The Trip Protection Fee is an optional add-on available at the time of online booking. With this option active, you can reschedule or cancel your trip up to 30 minutes before departure without penalty on the ticket value.

Important: this fee is non-refundable under any circumstances — it protects the remaining value of your booking but is not returned to you. Bookings without this option are subject to the standard cancellation policy (24h in advance; groups: 48h).

Exception: if the trip is cancelled by Viamar (due to operational issues or sea conditions), the full amount paid, including this fee, is fully refunded.
